After the first visit, the app shell works offline. Open PDFs in your browser, download EPUBs to a compatible reading app, and save links for books you read online.
Frequently asked questions
Is The Reading Room free?
Yes. This version is free to use and does not require an account or subscription.
Does it sync between Android and Windows?
There is no automatic cloud sync. Each browser has its own library; use the backup and restore tools to transfer your books between devices.
Can I use it without an internet connection?
After opening the app once while online, its main app shell can work offline. Online book links still need an internet connection.
